The Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts Ltd. (HKSFA) is a non-profit organisation founded in 1992 to promote the professional and ethical standards of financial analysts and investment practitioners in Hong Kong.  As a member society of CFA Institute, the Hong Kong Society assists in the mission of CFA Institute to help investment professionals around the world meet the challenges of global investing. Currently, CFA Institute has more than 100,000 members in 137 countries. HKSFA accounts for over 4,900 (as at August 2010) of those members and is one of the largest CFA Institute member societies in the world. 

The Memorandum and the Articles of Association of HKSFA are now available for download.

Recognised Institution

HKSFA is recognised by The Securities and Futures Commission as an institution for providing Continuous Professional Training.  Continuing Education programmes and seminars organised by HKSFA are qualified for CPT hours.


CFA Designation as Recognised Industry Qualification

The SFC recognises the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation as industry qualification for the licensing of Responsible Officers.
