William is the lead manager of Baring China Select Fund and manages a number of dedicated Hong Kong China portfolios. His research responsibilities include Hong Kong, China and Taiwan, and directs Hong Kong China specialist research. William joined Barings in 2004 from Primasia Securities, where he was an Investment Analyst specialising on Taiwanese stocks. He received a B.B.A. (Hons) in Finance from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. William was awarded the CFA designation in 2003. He is fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.

Winson is a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager specialising in Hong Kong and China equities.

Winson has extensive investment experience in Asian equities with a focus on the Greater China and Hong Kong markets. This included managing institutional mandates, including pension and sovereign wealth funds, and mutual fund products. He joined Manulife Asset Management from Nikko Asset Management’s Singapore office where he was Head of China Strategies. Before this, Winson served as Head of Greater China Equities at Societe Generale Asset Management.

Winson holds a Master of Science in Global Finance from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology/NYU Stern Business School, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Winson is a CFA charterholder.

Ms. Louisa Lo, CFA

Louisa joined Schroders in 1996 in our Hong Kong office. Prior to joining Schroders, Louisa spent three years working as a research analyst with securities firms, focusing on regional electronics stocks. Louisa is responsible for all aspects of the investment process and ultimately responsible for products managed by the Greater China investment desk. She is the manager of regional institutional portfolios as well as the Schroder ISF* Emerging Asia, Schroder ISF Taiwanese Equity, Schroder ISF China Opportunities and Greater China mandates.

Louisa holds a Master’s degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University in Sydney and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Melbourne. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
