The
Latest Job Market Update: The Hudson Report Q3 2010
(Career Talk at Monthly
Happy Hour Gathering - Thursday, 12th August)
As the economy picks up, employers
must offer competitive salaries to retain key
talent. HKSFA is pleased to announce that a
career talk on the topic "The Latest Job Market
Update: The Hudson Report Q3 2010" presented by Mr.
James Carss, Executive General Manager of Hudson
has been arranged for the upcoming happy
hour gathering.
This
event will focus on the latest findings of the survey
which indicates 65% of employers expect to increase
hiring in Quarter Three (Q3) 2010. Details on
employment trends in all industry sectors will be
covered along with feature reports on counter offer
salary rises, frequency and reasons for job offer
refusals, levels and causes for work-related stress.
Since its Asia launch in 1998, The Hudson
Report has been rapidly accepted as a key economic
indicator. Sought after by business leaders, The
Hudson Report provides valuable insight into the
expectations of organisations across all industries
and job disciplines. It represents the
expectations of over 1,500 key employment decision
makers in Asia from multinational organisations of all
sizes in all major industry sectors, with nearly 450
of the Hong Kong based executives surveyed in May by
Hudson consultants.
