Mr. Vincent Ng, CFA

Mr. Vincent Ng, CFA, joined Atlantic-Pacific Capital in 2007 and is the Partner responsible for the Asia-Pacific region, which includes deal origination and product distribution across markets such as Hong Kong, China, Japan, Korea, India, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Atlantic-Pacific Capital is one of the largest independently owned global placement agent and advisory firm dedicated to raising capital for alternative investments. Vince has worked on more than 50 global fundraisings that have included strategies such as private equity growth and buyouts, infrastructure, energy, and real estate. Vince is a regular speaker at major private equity and industry conferences across the region.
Prior to joining Atlantic-Pacific, Vince started and managed the Fund Placement Advisory Group at Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance in Hong Kong where he was responsible for deal sourcing, distribution and project management for the Asia-Pacific region. Vince has also worked in the London offices of Deloitte and Arthur Andersen where he provided financial advisory services such as audit and assurance, financial due diligence, M&A structuring, and company valuations.
Vince earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Economics from Queen Mary, University of London and a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics. Vince is also a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) in the United Kingdom, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Hong Kong, and a CFA charterholder.

Ms. Viola Lam, the CEO and Founder of Find Solution Ai Limited (FSAI) who won the Entrepreneur Year 2015/16 of the Youth Business International. This is one of the world's most honorific award for young successful entrepreneurs who make positive contributions to both society and people in over 68 countries. With an enriched experience in teaching mathematics of over 37,000 students in the past 12 years, Ms. Viola is fully understanding the importance of pedagogical approaches to the next generation and is determined to enhance the learning condition and performance of learners with the use of technology. Therefore, FSAI was established in 2016 and developed an Ai-Driven Motivation Model – 4LittleTrees (4LTs) with over 30 patents, which is able to analyze the emotions and cognitive level of students during studies. Mr. Chibo Tang has been investing in early-stage companies in the technology and media sectors in China for over a decade.  He is Head of the Hong Kong office, overseeing Gobi’s Greater Bay Area practice, and manages the Alibaba Hong Kong Entrepreneurs Fund, for which Gobi is the exclusive General Partner. He’s led numerous investments including Airwallex, WeLab, GOGOVAN, Urban Revivo, Prenetics, DayDayCook, and Sandbox VR. 
Chibo is recognized in the industry as Silicon Dragon Venture Capitalist of the Year 2017, Top 25 Global Corporate Venturing Rising Star 2019, Top 10 Global Corporate Venturing Emerging Leader 2020, a member of Generation T Asia Tatler Tribe, and a Co-Chair of the Asia Technology Entrepreneurship Conference.
Chibo received his B.A. in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Harvard College, and received his MBA in Finance from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). Chibo began his career as Strategy Consultant with Monitor Group, focusing on ASEAN and MENA regions. He also spent time at Robert Bosch as Senior Manager of Corporate Strategy APAC. Chibo joined Gobi Partners in 2009 and is currently a Managing Partner based in Hong Kong.

Unicorn is focused on generating superior returns for its partners by identifying and investing in high-performing and access-constraint venture capital opportunities.
Before founding Unicorn, Mr. Yip spent nine years (2005-2014) as Partner & Head of North Asia for Emerald Hill Capital Partners, an independent fund-of-funds focused on emerging private equity and venture capital managers in Asia.
Prior to joining Emerald Hill, Mr. Yip spent eight years (1998-2005) as Head of Research at the AVCJ Group, where he was specialized in research on funds, deals, exits, and investors in private equity in Asia.

For Non-members, after registering for the webinar, to request for CPT Attendance Letter, please click here (or scroll down) to complete the request application and payment(@$150).  
  • Request for CPT Attendance Letter will only be accepted on or before 14 January 2021 upon successful payment of $150.
  • Participants who fail to submit the request for CPT Attendance Letters and/or complete the payment @$150 will not be awarded of the Attendance Letter. 
  • No make-up applications and payments will be processed after 14 January 2021.
  • CPT Attendance Letters will not be awarded to participants who fail to attend the full webinar. The $150 paid will NOT be refunded. 
To qualify for CPT/CE hours, all participants (members and non-members) must attend the full webinar.  After the webinar, Society staff will verify participants’ check-in and check-out time from the registration system for the purpose of issuing CPT Attendance Letters.  No pro-rata credit hours will be awarded.
