HKSFA is proud to co-host this FinTech & Blockchain Series with the Executive Development Centre of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK-EDC) and Institute of Financial Technologists of Asia (IFTA).  
 

To provide an introduction to participants on how Fintech has started to change the way of insurance and banking business; provide learning experiences to participants so they can equip with some basic knowledge of Fintech developments in the financial industry. Industry practitioners in the banking/finance/insurance industries who do not possess much Fintech knowledge and will have to deal with this in their daily life will be provided with a WHOLISTIC introduction on Fintech and its useful applications in the industry.


Outlines:

 
1. What is and what is not exactly Fintech? How is it different to other usages and applications of Information Technologies?
  
2. Current Fintech developments and direction in banking and insurance industry.

3. Some cases in HK/China/Global arena.

4. What is required of managers and users in the face of these Fintech driven changes?

5. New challenges and issues brought about by these Fintech?

6. What Fintech can't solve - old issues with new tools.
