Mr. Michael Man Yeung CHENG

Mr. Cheng Man Yeung, Michael has been Head of Government Affairs & Public Relations, Asia Pacific of Invesco Hong Kong Limited (“the company”) since August 2019. In this role Michael works closely with colleagues covering government relations across the Invesco Group. He is responsible for overseeing the legislative and public policy issues within APAC countries that impact the group. He also drives the development and execution of a strategic government affairs and policy program to enhance the company’s reputation and brand with key policy makers.
Michael has over 25 years of experience in the financial and legal services industry. He joins the company from MSCI Hong Kong where he served as Executive Director, ESG Research and led their APAC corporate governance research. Prior to that, he has held senior positions at the Asian Corporate Governance Association, Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing, China International Capital Corporation, and the Securities and Futures Commission, in addition to roles at the region's leading law firms including Linklaters and Baker & McKenzie.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Commercial Law from the University of Hong Kong. He is a Fellow Member of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute.
Ms. Rui Nana LI, CFA
Senior Research Analyst
Asian Corporate Governance Association Hong Kong
Ms. Nana Li is Senior Research Analyst for ACGA, joining the Association in February 2014. Her primary responsibilities include researching corporate governance developments in Hong Kong and China, covering these markets for the bimonthly members’ newsletter, Asia Regional Briefing. She is the primary author of the China and Hong Kong chapters of CG Watch 2016 and CG Watch 2018, and is the project manager and one of the main authors of the ACGA China Corporate Governance Report 2018.
Besides her research work, Ms Li assists ACGA’s advocacy and educational work, giving presentations in Hong Kong, China and other parts of the region. She has assisted with the organisation of ACGA’s annual conferences since 2014 as well as ACGA member delegations to different Asian markets. She was a primary organiser for the ‘2017 China Responsible Investment Forum’ in Tianjin, the first event ACGA has co-organised with the Asset Management Association of China and China Association for Public Companies.
Ms Li is also a member of the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN) Shareholder Rights Policy Committee and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Standards Advisory Group.
A native of Hangzhou, Ms Li holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Distinction) from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, with major in Finance and Accounting and a Master of Finance (Dean’s Honours List) from the University of Hong Kong. In August 2017, she became a CFA® charterholder.
